Last week, the 1Huddle team hosted 50 Newark high school and college students from the All Stars Project of New Jersey’s Development School for Youth (DSY) for a networking workshop. In the DSY, young people ages 16 to 21 learn to perform as professionals, and they partner with business leaders across the country who conduct development workshops and provide paid summer internships at their companies.
1Huddle has been partnering with the All Stars Project since 2017 to assist with resume building, interview training, networking, and professional development. We have been lucky enough to have a dozen DSY graduates come through our summer internship program and look forward to taking more this summer. 💪
The All Stars Project provides an incredible stepping stone to young people in underserved communities, providing them with access and opportunities to grow and develop.
